Below is a picture caught in a Santa Rosa, California neighborhood known for having children playing.
Unbelievably, the girl survived the hit and run incident.

Promoting Pedestrian Safety Across America
The majority of the world's population has never received skilled instruction in pedestrian activities.  The main reasons for this deficit are simply the lack of sufficient motivation.  We own a comprehensive teaching curriculum that has been used in California school to train teachers of Special Needs Children to safely navigate the streets in their communities.  Most districts choose risk over safety because the several thousand dollars needed to teach this course is too expensive.  The State of California's Department of Social Services has no curriculum or training mode for the 10,000 group homes in the state.  They have asked if Supporting Champions would convert our program to an online format so their home administrators could learn pedestrian safety.

We are going beyond that request and are creating a full online game which will safely instruct all pedestrians to navigate their communities safely and have fun at the same time.

As in most safety improvements, legislation does not happen until a sufficient amount of financial disaster occurs.  We are creating our online game to reduce the future financial disasters and to save human life.  It's time to go beyond the mere, "look both ways before crossing" methodology and provide a comprehensive safeness curriculum for all pedestrians  In twenty-five years of using our curriculum, not one student or teacher experienced a life-threatening pedestrian accident.

PedestrianSafe can bring a fun, safe education to all and preempt  future tragedies from happening around the world.

A national health crisis
Roughly 40 people die in traffic each day in Mexico, due to speeding cars, drunk driving, and a lack of traffic law enforcement. Its streets the 7th deadliest in the world, according to the World Health Organization. Mexico’s current safety regulations and monitoring systems are sorely lacking: Basic systems and oversight that most developed countries take for granted, like a database that records a driver’s accident history and speeding violations, or standardized driver’s license tests, don’t exist at the national level. In December, a local newspaper sent a legally blind citizen into Mexico’s equivalent of the DMV and they were able to get a permit.
